Plan Ahead: Costume Swap + Pizza Party!

The costume swap and pizza party is scheduled for Thursday, August 19th at 5:00 p.m.

As a reminder, participating in the costume is completely voluntary. The purpose of the swap is to cut down on solo, duo, and trio costume costs, and to repurpose costumes so they don't clutter your house!

We will be combining the costume swap with a pizza party, so feel free to join even if you don't have a costume to swap!

Here's how it will work:

• If you have a costume (or multiple costumes) in nearly perfect condition that you no longer want and you think would be worth selling, bring it to the studio anytime before August 13th. We will organize them so we are ready to go on 8/19.

• On 8/19 at 5 p.m., come and shop the swap! Sellers can set their own prices, but we suggest a swap price of $40-$70. Bring cash!

• Dancers should come prepared to try costumes on.

• Want to donate your costumes instead? Great! We will happily repurpose them (this includes group costumes.)

• Got shoes?! Bring them, too! Although I would like to avoid a permanent bin of shoes in the waiting room for people to pick through, the idea of passing down shoes that have been outgrown is one I would like to continue. The costume swap is a great time to pass them along!

The swap and pizza party will conclude at 6:00 p.m.
